The Infamous "Hi Cow" Haiku
Well, that was surreal. I just met one of Japan's highly esteemed poets - Shokan Kondo. He is in Arkansas to headline a meeting of the American Haiku Society (or something like that.) I told him that I had written one haiku in my life. So I recited it for him. He liked it and had me write it down in one of his journals.
