I have never asked for a post of mine to be shared...but here it is...for I would like everyone to know.  My oldest son was born with problems....he operates on a K5 to 3rd grade level...and I love him.  He did wrong...he was caught with marijuana yesterday...and I called to check calls and charges ....then drove thru flooded roads to go bail him out.  Which I did...for 4 hours...while my bondsman was told he was processed out bur would have to visit with a counselor from Counseling Associates ...the one that has complete control in this aspect for the whole county Associates first ...after 4 hours of repeatedly assuring the bondsman he would be right out we were told he was being held for suicide watch...and put back in a cell...not a hospital mind you where he still remains waiting for a commitment hearing tomorrow...now a few facts ...this caused me not to take my heart medicine because it was back home...and not to eat...because I might miss him...and I made Counseling Associates back off years ago when they wanted placed over his money and forced to live in one of their residences.  I have a fine place when meds need to be adjusted at Living Hope in Little Rock that is associated with St. Vin that agrees he can handle independent living and I have him a home 200 feet from mine...he pays all his bills and buys and prepares his own food...and his brother and I are both close at hand.  He has friends and functions.  But to the meat of the matter I filed a complaint with the Department of Justice under the Americans with Disabilities Act as was my right.  I then contacted Sheriff Andy Sock to get him to investigate...Imagine my surprise when i received the below email...he will not investigate because I exercised my rights under the law....really shameful for a supposed representative of the law...I thought retaliation was a crime...as failure to do your sworn job   I will be urging all I know to quit business within the county...some will do so...I am respected here and I hope when I do manage to get him out he stays south of the river...Counseling Associates has seen fit to not respond to calls.
