In her first post, Mee Ming explores what happens to us (well... to some of us) when we ingest asparagus. She also offers a smell test, the Whiz Quiz, where you can rate yourself on her asparagus urine smell scale (1-3).
I took the Whiz Quiz & I was given an out-of-scale 8!!!
Following Mee Ming's advise:
- I solicited an "impartial judge to make the fragrance note observations"
- I had 3 cups of water, followed by the plate of steamed & peeled asparagus
- to ensure that the "beautiful musical metaphors to be found" were not contaminated with others, i skipped the hollandaise sauce & sprinkled only a tiny bit of ladolemono
- as soon as "the inventory" started becoming "liquidated" the "impartial judge" stormed out of the bathroom screaming "eight! eight! eight!"
