Working in construction and seeing something like this fills me with awe.

On vacation in Barcelona, I was awed and inspired by Gaudi's Sagrada Familia, which is probably the most amazing building I've ever encountered. It's been under construction for over 120 years now and is still only 60% completed. Truly visionary.

  1. I visited there in 2004. As a New Yorker, I have to admit that building shits all over anything in NYC. It really is magnificent and MUST be viewed from all sides.

For anybody that ever gets to this part of Spain, about a mile down the road from here is a place called 'the old town' that is like Greenwich village on steroids. Be sure to stop and have some tapas too.
