Hmmm... I'm confused Gord Birch. You value it seems individualism yet seem to be against empowering minorities. Aren't individuals the purest form of minority ? (Feel free to ignore this question - I'm just trolling you here.)
Gord Birch So you're for child labor, and full-on discrimination everywhere. You basically want a third world country. Maybe you should move to one of those third world countries if you think they're so great.
Gord Birch Anyone who thinks we shouldn't have antidiscrimination policies, doesn't believe in government regulations on businesses basically WANTS a third world country, it's as simple as that. You can't let businesses do anything they want and still have a decent country.
Gord Birch When you're against government regulations on businesses, you've lost, you've lost completely. There's no point in listening to someone who believes in ridiculous pipe dreams.
Wow - I didn't realize I was gone that long. That was an unproductive thread, eh ? I'll come back to this later when I've had a chance to think about it and have a proper keyboard/screen. For now I'll just say "It only takes one to make peace"
I understand. But I stand on my premise. In fact I'll double down and say it always takes one to make peace. I'll give you the point though that peace can also be found in silence. I surrender. Hopefully, victory may bring you peace this day.
Enlighten me as to the details that are so bad, please.

ReplyDeleteGord Birch It's like you believe in that ridiculous libertarian pipe dream that only becomes crap when tried to be made into reality.
ReplyDeleteGord Birch And I'll treat you like I treat any other libertarian idiot! You believe in something that CAN'T work.
