  3. Thank you all. The scene of the tree bursting apart the very mountain was inspiring. I'm glad you all enjoyed sharing that moment with me.
     Jon Clay The original image should be in my stream, next to this one. I think I turned autoawesome off for the post. All I did was adjust the lighting and contrast with just a wee bit of bump up in the color saturation. It was heavily overcast and I shot this with the lightness boosted up in the camera to get more detail but then dropped it in the processed image to try to capture the mood that the original scene imparted to me. I tweaked the color intensity to try to match my memory of the moment because the processing seemed to flatten it out a little.
