I will try to explain what I meant.
You use words that cause me to be uncomfortable. Words like "Dear" or "Sweet" are only used to address someone you are very close to. In my culture  those terms signify a level of intimacy that is inappropriate when used with a stranger. 
I take no offense by your way of speaking. I think either you live somewhere that people use these terms more freely. If I'm wrong about that please enlighten me.
