Don't read this if you're a Fundamentalist Christian or Fundamentalist Jew, for for that matter if you're a Fundamentalist Anything who believes solely in Scriptural Literal readings of holy texts. If you deny your God-Given Brain, I really don't want to debate you.

If however you're interested in how our various believed-inspired texts (and I do believe in that "divine" inspiration) came about, it's a fascinating application of computing to understanding the Genesis of the Bible. (Genesis, Bible/Torah, pun heh heh .. it's not just the Book of Genesis.) You don't have to believe anything to find this interesting, you just have to not believe "God dictated it verbatim". Anyhow, "you know it doesn't like to be called that."

So far the Israeli scientists have applied this to the first 5 books of the Torah/Bible, the so-called "Books of Moses." Not looking like Moses himself wrote all this. For anybody who still thought that.
