1st thoughts: There is great strength in diversity. Several hundred people getting together and yet NOT acting like a mob. My view of the movement has changed. These people actually respected each other and set aside their differences to reach consensus on agenda items. (well they treated each other with respect anyway)

  1. Thank you for sharing your impressions; I appreciate it. I also found that to be the case here. People on both sides of the coin engaged one another in respectful conversation, listened to one another's points of view and I believe many found more commonality than previously thought. The police are estimating our turnout at approximately 1000. I saw a dozen "official" Tea party folks and they didn't march despite saying they were going to. The groups mingled with one another vs. separating according to positions. It was truly peaceful protest at its best and the diversity of America was well represented. I am editing my photos and will post them soon.
