I understand - but out of respect I would always mention any conversations at least in passing. I myself have an understanding with several facebook friends. I was doing an extensive unfriending frenzy recently and a couple of peeps were anxious that I might drop them. I gave them the option of staying if and only if they promised to never discuss, tag or in any way associate me, my name or image, etc. with a short list of people who piss me off. Since then only one of them has made a boo-boo but lucky for her it was only as an alt-profile. We're still buds here and in her "real" fb personae...

Funny thing about it - my whole life has gotten better since I pulled the plug (or flushed) while she got trolled (pretty bad) stalked by other friends of the one who I didn't like and nuked twice since then. Things have calmed down a bit since she followed my lead and did a little blocking of her own...
