Well Tony Lazzari, this is Day Five and I have enjoyed every one of them. It's funny how looking at pictures for a project like this can help you see them so differently. I think that's the best part for me. This picture of coal that was mined before all the modern machines were invented was (to me) an interesting snapshot and that was all. I was looking for something for the #fivedayblackandwhitechallenge and suddenly it looked entirely different. I began to thing about those drills in the background. How hard it must have been to turn them by hand and drill into solid rock.

I've picked Shantha Marie Fountain as my last (and best) invitee. Would you care to share ?
