Greenhouse - The Ultimate Political Browser Extension, Made By A Teenager

Now this is how you educate people about politics, by giving them tools that give you information about politicians right at your finger tips.

Greenhouse, a browser extension created by a teenager that takes politicians names on any website and highlights them giving you the ability to hover over their names and bring up a score card of "detailed campaign contribution data for every Senator and Representative, including total amount received and breakdown by industry and by size of donation". Now that is what I call handy.

Granted the information is based on 2012 data but it gives you a perspective into how they were funding in previous elections and it even gives you links for you to check out the information for yourself, in case you have doubts about the legitimacy of the information which, again granted, may not be accurate. Nonetheless you shouldn't do some of your own research but this extension just makes it a bit easier by putting it right in your face. All you have to do is install a simply extension.
