Darrell Cherry I looked at the video that was recommended to you earlier. There are indeed some elements of truth in that series but also a large infusion of half truths and presentations of facts that were patently false. For example: gold coins are real money. In fact they are pieces metal with numbers stamped on them. Their value fluctuates. Sometimes due to inflation and sometime due to speculation and/or simple market fluctuation.

By all means watch the videos. I know that you will do so with an open mind and due consideration. Just keep in mind that this Maloney guy is an author as well as an economist and that the videos are produced with a freaking soundtrack of emotion evoking music. Kind of like Michael Moore's movies, if you get my drift...
