Thanks Ralph Brown it was a quick snap out of the car window with my very least favorite camera too. I'm fascinated with these structures. I'm a Fl. native and had to ask Hope what they were. We didn't have them back home.
Morning Oscar Lovett That is a springhouse. Think frontier refrigerator. The cool water chills the air and you keep perishables in it. This one looked like it might be set up to harvest some of the water too. Maybe for drinking or irrigation.

ReplyDeleteNo but it's on the list. Only Burgess falls so far in this area. I want to get back to Cumberland falls too on a full moon soon to see the moonbow.
