Create the Scene - Empty Nest #wpc2015
Create the Scene - Empty Nest #wpc2015
So I procrastinated all week and was just blown away by some awesome scenes. Then tonight I went to the Dollar Store and bought a white folding project board, a shiny dashboard reflector and a whoopee cushion. I took a couple of shots with the lights and reflectors in different spots. I put a mirror on a seat behind my tripod so I could not only get my IR remote to work from the front but see the "live view" to compose a funny gag scene.
Meh !
I think this story speaks for itself. I bet anyone with grown children can relate without any further discussion. It's funny how you can be both glad and sad at the same time.

I just want to know about the Whoopee Cushion?
ReplyDeleteI'll round it up and send it you.
ReplyDeleteI would love an empty room
ReplyDeleteYup - Jenn knows which way is up.
ReplyDeleteI saw the ad (Ikea : ) was just like that ;)))
ReplyDeleteI don't know the ad, but I'm always thrilled that somebody got paid to "see" something like I did.
ReplyDeleteI took a shot of an old general store by an old highway some time ago. I practiced my processing skills (which were/are few and clumsy) and posted it. A local fb friend said it looked familiar and tin-eye searched it. It was almost a pixel perfect match to a fifty year old post card.
All I could think was, "Hey, I just might become a real photographer yet" !
You are very much a real boy Pinocchio!!

ReplyDeleteReally I'm more of a Tinkerbell boy myself.
