I've adapted (I think) just fine. I hardly ever worry about privacy setting except for the "hunt" so I didn't follow last weeks "big thing" too closely. Between Picasa, which I don't really care for and the assistant though it really isn't to difficult to deal with. I can't say I like it. But I can live with it and I can see that there are some advantages to the new system. I do miss the auto-awesome stuff. It was a nice (sometimes) surprise to see the stories and snow and things like that. Auto enhance was about 50-50 too.
Art through the Apeture Photography Sounds okay to me. Some folks might be a little self conscious about selfies and could maybe see this as a challenge to either be more comfortable in a group of supportive friends or just use the sketch as a way to achieve a level of control.
Okay going to do it. Now we need a new picture. Can you go through the posts Theo and find someone's that hasn't been used yet and re-size and place it as the new banner. Thanks.
The only comment I have about the new Photos app is you r supposed to be able to share images/albums w/ facebook etc. I haven't been able to. it just brings you back to G+ albums. Other then that I'm ok with it
debi scott I noticed that i can do that with my phone. I have to click the picture, wait for a few minutes and then I can share to fb or wherever. On PC and Ipad mini, I have not seen this feature.
ted kelly I tried to share an album that I created in the new photos w/a friend who isn't in G+. If she was in G+ I could just share it there with her, right? It just brought her into G+ to view the album, where she could not.
Did you look at the sample share I did on my timeline ? How did your share to her work or look different ? Did you use the "shareable link" or 'share to facebook" ? Are your privacy setting open on that album ? I bet we can figure this out...
I am having no trouble at all with Google photos. It seems to be working just the same as before just called something different.

Yeah think I feel the same Theo.
ReplyDeleteWhat I liked was when someone wanted to see a poppy. I searched, and lo and behold, poppies appeared!
ReplyDeleteI understand Google photos, if that's what you mean.
ReplyDeleteJanice, you can still do that.
ReplyDeleteThe cover is one of mine I threw up to remind me that we needed to pick a new one and a new challenge. Any ideas?

ReplyDeleteHow about selfie and then we can get a face to go with everyone here!
ReplyDeleteElizabeth Childs - I was talking about the new Photos, I didn't know we could search the old one?
ReplyDeleteSure could Janice Hackney
