  1. Getting them to look at you or not spooking them. Or anything to get them to be a little more cooperative. LOL

  3. You may find that the only birds that will come closer and stick around are the ones that are used to hanging around humans and scavenging their crumbs.

I'm finding that my 250 mm zoom lens lets me stay far enough away that the birds will stay a little longer and act naturally. Eventually they look my way while I'm snapping away.

  8. A good long lense, a hide and some sandwiches will produce some great pics.

  9. Last Spring, I watched a bird nest and discovered that the Mama bird brought food every day around a certain time. I found that I had to sit still for at least half an hour or so to try to get a good shot. I still never got a really good one.

  11. Cute Cute  shot ted kelly Yes Patience, a lot of waiting .. Feed them black oil sunflower seeds. Bluebirds like pop corn popped, I always throw them out my let over scrambled eggs & crumbles of my homemade biscuits they LOVE em! he heee! , have a constant source of clean  water for them.. Many birds will come back to the exact same branch so if you are already focused on a spot you can get good one's.. A blind is nice to  I used to use a tall ladder with a colorful blanket over it..   Keep with it Ted You can only get better & better!! ♥xo
