Monti was, and still seems to be a total trip. From his days on Carson and the like he was always a consumate performer. These days he still works a bit in Vegas while blogging and working on a TV "treatment" He also performs weddings. (naturally)
Listen closely and you might hear his name droppped by the likes of Elvis Costello and the Pet Shop Boys. Of course no pop-star can be dissed by the Simpsons crowd, so keep an eye out for him there too.

  1. I, on the other hand, have long been a fan of disco, having cut my musical teeth on it.  This one is a lot of fun, a little 20s flapper feel mixed into it and a whole bunch of cheese.  That cover, though?  That's thoroughly awful.

  2. I have learned to be more open to different things as I've "ripened". lol
