A plea from me...
Please don't mention the Aurora shooter's name, nor post any photos of him. Monsters such as him do not deserve mention, much less a place in our society. One of the greatest mistakes we have made in the past is to put monsters in the national spotlight. This should not continue.
They are not celebrities, and they do not deserve to breathe our air or occupy our space.

I see Media already dubbed him "dark knight killer" or something like that. Sickening! That is exactly what he wanted
ReplyDeleteWe gave Al Qaeda what they wanted, too... gave up our freedoms in the name of security (which is even worse considering that we never actually got any effective security at all, but that's for another discussion.) It's exceedingly difficult to suppress fear and hatred felt by the masses, or even channel it into something constructive, without resorting to preying upon said fear and hatred. :(
