Also, as Lady Bird Johnson said, native plants "give us a sense of where we are in this great land of ours."

For any interested parties, I get my wildflower seeds from AmericanMeadows.com - they have a section for both native species and carry seeds for native plants that are endangered. (and heirloom veggies for gardens)
