I got it forced on me recently and it hasn't bothered me. But then I never had the stalker bar, I've unsubscribed from all but a few friends and most of what would have bothered went away with recurring deactivations of my friends profiles. It is nice to be able to go back to a time frame and dig up old pictures and stuff without have to scroll backwards for hours...
I'm going to be forced into using Facebook Timeline soon. I may be bailing on Facebook after that happens. I hate that fricking Timeline feature.
