Cover that beats the original
Rarely does a cover of a great song come along that beats or is even equal to the original - Marianne Faithful's cover of John Lennon's "Working Class Hero" is one in my book.
Here's another - a knockout cover of Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean" - that makes you listen to it with fresh ears.
It doesn't hurt that one half of the duo is a dead ringer for Johnny Depp.
