I haven't done a #treetuesday picture in a very long time. I saw right
through this tree though and played around with the image a little. Any
thoughts one the different pix would be appreciated.

Thanks Elizabeth. I was trying out some different ideas - and not too seriously either. Funny thing is: the original one right out of the camera was the best. (IMHO) I think there's a lesson to be learned there somewhere. lol
Ooooh ! That's an interesting observation. You have opened my eyes up to this in a different way Elizabeth Kearvell. What a delightful start for my day. Two inspiring comments on two versions from two different Elizabeths ! This should be an interesting day.
Here is a link to my "final" version/edit. I only slightly tweaked the contrast and lighting and just a wee bit of sharpening using a desktop program called FastStone Image Viewer. It doesn't have all the range and power of things like PS/LR/LZ/GIMP but it's quick, simple and has enough "oomph" to take care of most of my editing needs. It's also a pretty good viewer with a quick UI and good rendering. https://goo.gl/Lp0NFF
ted kelly ...the trunk you are focusing on needs to be seen...the extra tweak makes it jump out and say ...look at me I am not with the crowd....lightening the hole started the process...well done Ted...you are seeing the 'vision' ...if that sounds right... :-)
ted kelly ......so happy it had that effect dear Ted (she blushes) ......in photography ...in my humble opinion...everything you do must count big time... :-)
I like them all, but the 3rd one made me say wow!

ReplyDeleteted kelly sometimes I feel that way too.
ReplyDeleteted kelly ...absolutely the third one...the others seem to be a little lost in the scheme of things... :-)
