This is disgusting. That something like this was even proposed, let alone passed just goes to show how far gone this country is. This is figuratively, and quite literally driving a wedge even further between the opposing viewpoints trying to cohabitate in the US in 2012. This is the kind of thing that doesn't just go away. People don't forget things like this. This just makes things worse.
