I am so tired of fighting the stream. I waste so much time trying to find the part I was just reading. Has G+ given up on trying to settle the screen jump or did I miss an extension somewhere ?

  1. Indeed, though it is an absolute must have item.

  2. I don't think I know what you two are talking about. My screen doesn't jump around.

  3. what browser do you use ? I'm using Chrome and sometimes (when it's busy) I can hold the scroll down non-stop and not move down at all...

  6. Fighting the stream is a nuisance for new users who jump in and don't first learn how to use the various features.
I find a post I wish to comment on, such as this one, I use the post-menu (little circle) upper right corner of post, or the time stamp (perma link) to link to this post. Now it is on one page, no stream, I take my time. The post-menu opens a new window - when I close it, I am back to where I left off the stream. The time-stamp switches in same window, when I go back, I am no longer connected to where I am in the stream.

Perhaps you would like to join my G+ TIPS circle of people who occasionally share things like this.

If your screen doesn't jump around, then you are not getting much traffic. My stream is Niagara Falls.

There are many G+ things which can be done better with one browser or another.

  7. Mine jumps all the time with chrome and stream pause both. I suppose that's what happens with lots of followers but yeah, it's beyond annoying for those of us for whom flickering, etc cause either migraines or seizures. More and more, I've been hitting the permalink to comment but even scrolling is awful because they're coming so fast. Alister Macintyre please add me to your circle.

  8. Me too. (even if I think I know it all) I would love to be in a circle like that. (just kidding, I only act like a know-it-all, I don't really believe it)

  10. I took the 2 of you into G+ TIPS and out of DO NOT KNOW YOU YET
I don't share tips as often as I did months ago, but I have 200 people in that circle, so when I do post a tip, you might want to comment on it with a question, and invite other people there, who have such a circle to include you too, which will get you interacting with other people there who share such info.
