I never thought Cheesy Poof was insane. I think he's a cold calculating bastard who has only his own agenda in mind, cares about nothing, including his own country, but will lie thru his teeth to get what he wants.
I used the term very loosely. I do think he fits into a couple of personality disorder categories. I wouldn't bet against a touch of schizophrenia but the sociopath thing is spot on, for sure,
Insane is a moderately relative term. Narcissistic bully? Absolutely. Most of us from the Mid Atlantic have known that for decades. Able to hear a sales pitch? Also, yes. Sounds like Cambridge Analytics pitched to the right people (for them). Unfortunately, now the rest of the world is going to be paying for it.
That's a scary theory.
