I'm on the brink of ordering a new pocket camera. I can get a Samsung Galaxy  EK-GC120 for seventy five bucks on Ebay. I'd love to hear an impressions or reviews if anyone has had one or used one. It's a 16 mp 21x zoom wi-fi camera running jellybean and I'm inclined to go for it.

  3. I saw one (definitely samsung, definitely wi-fi, maybe not exact model) in a second hand shop before Christmas and thought about buying it. £50 But I managed to persuade myself I didn't need another camera. Let us know how you get on.

  5. I don't have any experience with this camera, but from what I quickly gleaned from the web, it seems to be very well connected bot with wifi and 3+4G connectivity... However, it seems to be an underachiever in the imagine department, compared to similar size and priced alternatives.

  6. I concur - and even at two hundred I would surely take a pass. Seventy five however with a liberal (no questions asked) return policy made me take  chance on it. The voice command feature might just have been the tipping point though. lol
Yo camera - zoom in. Okay now bracket this and shoot...  Yeah, this might be fun.

  7. That's what I thought. £50 seemed fair enough wouldn't have bought it full price. (And I didn't buy it anyway, but £50 would have been fair). I'm still peeking in the shop window to see if another comes back in.

  8. ted kelly well I can just imagine taking a picture with voice control... Camera, focus on the second tree from the left at 3.251ft above ground level and set white balance to cloudy ;))

  9. Eventually it will get to the point where we may be able to focus stack and stuff, in camera. This one supposedly has a feature that can select faces and apply filters to just those parts of the picture.
Hey camera, make me look thinner...
