The blogosphere, fueled by Fox is buzzing with news that Mayor Bloomberg has turned away the National Guard. My mind instantly provided an image of His Honor bravely staring down a tank on the Fort Hamilton Pkwy.
The truth is - The Guard was already there. They're saving people and keeping the gas station lines safe and have so far managed to keep from mowing down any innocent civilians. Maybe the NYPD should take some firearm safety lessons from The Guard ?
