  1. Thanks Byron. Serendipity is my favorite muse so often.

  2. Serendipity is the reason you should always have a camera with you. :-)

  3. Yep - actually had two of them. This was my quicky with the little one. I wasn't sure if I had time to get out the "real" camera.
I did (have time) and now have a couple of gigs of RAW headed for the waste basket and this. It seems that the gut works better than the brain for me. (lol)

  4. I was laughing just a bit as I was aiming for this one. I was trying to rework a very old joke about koala bears...
Q: What's the difference between me (aka Teddy Bear) and a koala bear ?
A: The koala *eats" shoots and leaves while the Teddy Bear sees leaves and shoots.
~ I did not say it was a good joke ~

  5. So many different shapes ( large and small ) and varied colours - works well for the theme.

  6. Francesco Scaglioni Thanks, This is a pretty good example of Kudzu. In a few weeks it will look entirely different. You will be able to see once again the trees and shrubs that are hidden foe now. Then it will return in the springtime to gradually blanket everything once again.

I'd like to tell you that I appreciate the responses you have to my contributions. I am reminded of Ansel Adams notion that the viewer is a participant in the photograph. I get the feeling that you are not just scrolling and scanning and then tossing out a compliment but that you are actively engaging with my work. And that my friend is the greatest compliment of all.

  7. ted kelly Thanks for your kind words. I try as best I can. At the moment I am way behind but I'll catch up eventually. I googled images of Kudzu - pretty wild stuff !
