Be still, sad heart! and cease repining;
Behind the clouds is the sun still shining;
Thy fate is the common fate of all,
Into each life some rain must fall - Longfellow
The answer to this problem, and perhaps all of our problems is simple.
More GrateGrate Art Wednesday and David Washington and Gary Posner will back me up on this I'm sure. More #grateartwednesday please.
I find this post to be a little draining.

ReplyDeleteFabulous perspective....for pic and text... :))
Roy Manterfield I really would have preferred to post a simillar image from our local Walmart, That "drain"was a lot bigger though, at about 150 yards long. I didn't have a big enough camera with me when I was there though.
ReplyDeleteElizabeth Kearvell If I've learnt anything from practicing photography is that when considering all of lifes little bits and pieces - it all depends on how you look at it.
ReplyDeleteBTW, while I was considering a reshoot that would have shown this subject getting a good workout, I took a pass on that opportunity and kept my camera dry. It was a good long gully washer followed by an even longer period of warm, gently light rain. I did go outside and splash in some puddles and play in the rain though and then guess what...
Yep, I bet you "got it". There was one of the most beautiful rainbows I've ever seen. It was huge and the colors were intense and it almost seem like you could reach out and touch it.
Have a "grate" day EK. - tk
