I think the situation is trending to a little less talk and a little more action. I see more serious people engaging their representatives and even two political parties forming. I see less press when real pressure is being exerted. Did you know that about 10k people were in to see their senators and reps last week. The PACs are coming out of the woodwork too. We aren't into the co-opting thing but for example, somebody paid for two buss loads of peeps from my area alone to go spend a week in DC. I think some significant and hopefully small changes will begin and grow slowly over time...
