So what’s the deal with the Noah movie?

So what’s the deal with the Noah movie?

Does it replace the message of the Bible story with a message created by Hollywood?

  1. I just lost a great deal of respect for Crowe.

  2. I don't know about the movie. But its a real story.I think the ark that Noah built is still there.Actually the belief in evolution is also somewhat related to what happened at Noah's time. The 'Survival of the fittest' theory. It is also possible that some kind of changes could have taken place to adapt to the new environment.40 days and 40 nights of continuous floods is devastating, isn't it?And the first rainbow did appear after the floods.A covenant between God and his people that this will not happen again. Gives hope that those who are faithful to him will survive just like Noah and his family.

  3. Thank you all for responding. I posted this berceuse one of my "churchy" peeps on fb posted a very negative review and I was I unaware of the "controversy". I recently married into a very conservative Baptist family/area. I put the link on over there in an effort to loosen up the stick they all seem to have stuck up in their tushes.
    Wish me luck. LOL

  4. That is so kind. They aren't so bad though. They just sort of forget that their supposed to act Christian and not just be Christians. (Sometimes)
