It's sort of about corporate personhood if you have lost track of what occupy is up to.

  1. w/e. I do not trust the Occupy movement in the least. It is NOT grass roots in its overall structure. And I do not know who is funding the myriad organizers in their many locations. Therefore, there is not transparency in the organizers' purpose. And the followers -- they have no real agenda other than protesting coupled with whatever idea pops into their head on monetary inequality and its fallout.

  2. Wrong (imho) - but please go on. Can you explain why the concept of corporate personhood enriches you (or my) life and helps our political process function so well ?

  3. ted kelly wtf! why do you put all these assumptions on me? fuck you. if I mistrust something, I mistrust it. NEVER assume that because someone you do not know in any way whatsoever mistrusts something, you can infer that they hold some set of beliefs that for YOU are the only reason they could mistrust it. Your thinking is unbelievably limited.

  4. Mistrust all you want, I understand and respect that. You made statements regarding the occupy movement that I know to be wrong. If you can support them I will be glad to change my mind. If they were opinions or questions then I'd be glad to listen, answer or discuss. As positive statements of fact, on my post, I won't ignore them.

  5. if you've got proof of the funding of the occupy movement and who is doing it, I'm all ears.

  6. That's easy - individual donations and self funding. We don't accept big donations because we don't want anyone to think they can co-opt us. The biggest donation our group has accepted was when a wedding was cancelled and we got the food from the caterer (and the brides mother)
