I'm not bailing out but the idea of losing the plus (and maybe the WPP ?) has taken all the wind out of my sails. I'm enjoying the pluspora environment but it obviously it doesn't have the functionality to meet our needs. Facebook has obvious options but ruins all the photos. I was playing with a photo page there but shuttered it because I just couldn't stand putting all the work into making a picture and then having fb decide to alter it.

So anyway - Though I've heard some horrible things about MeWe, I decided to open an account there. If anyone has experience there please chime in. I think it might have the functionality with groups and events and such. One can always hope anyway ???

I totally agree with your blog post - tried MeWe but looking at the groups already present there I decided that it was set up to be a home for political views I disagree with so I left.
