There are updates for GIMP and G'MIC and I've been playing. (See comments for one I'm really happy with.)
While I was waiting for some of the filters to run, I was dragged into a conversation about the good or bad side of "shopping" pictures. The biggest complaint seemed to be how difficult it is to tell if a picture is "real" or not.
Well, here's a handy tool to help you through that question. You might want to bookmark this one for future reference.
